Excursions and footpaths

Sunny Valposchiavo is located south of the Graubunden Alps. From the Bernina glaciers, crossing a varied vegetation, the vineyards of Valtellina are reached after only 25 km.

Valposchiavo is an excellent excursion area, thanks to its interesting topography and a wide ranging network of well-marked footpaths.

Clear water, pure air, forests and lakes. The climate is mild from May to October. A trip on the «Rhaetian Railway» Red Train, with views on Piz Bernina and the Palu glacier, is a unique experience.

Many walks are available, suitable for all tastes and abilities.
